How to Keep Food Fresh Naturally
How many times have we brought food and then forgotten about it only to remember it because it begins to stink? Against this, you cannot do anything, but you can ensure that your food lasts longer and keeps fresh.
How?
There are many things you can do, such as regularly clean your refrigerator and regularly check the food in there and also that you keep in the cupboards or anywhere else. But its not just about checking them. This cannot prevent anything. All you will be doing is throwing away food items before they stink up the entire kitchen. So, what can you do to keep the food fresh?
Practical List of Tips for Ensuring Food is Cleaner and Fresher:
1) Spread some cloves on and around the marble surface of your kitchen, and also spread some cloves under the sink.
Why?
The Cloves keeps ants away.
2) Place some bay leaves inside your bags of dough, rice and the rest of the packs that insects prefer.
Why?
Bay leaves keep insects and other such lice away from food products. By placing bay leaves inside the packets, we ensure that insects do not reside there. But please remember to change the bay leaves once every three months.
3) Place half a potato in the refrigerator.
Why?
If there is any kind of bad smell from food or cooked items, the half potato will absorb it. To make sure that this works, remember to exchange the potato every three days.
4) Store eggs with the pointed side down.
Why?
Storing eggs with the pointed side down keeps them fresh for a longer period.
5) Place a few cubes of sugar in the jar where you store American cheese.
Why?
When you place two or three cubes of sugar with the American cheese in an air tight jar, the sugar absorbs the moisture and prevents the cheese from getting bad.
6) Do not store tomatoes and cucumbers in the same draw.
Why?
Tomatoes give out gases that cause cucumbers to rot faster so make sure that you keep these two apart.
7) Do not store apples along with the rest of the fruits and vegetables.
Why?
Apples give out certain gases that cause fruits and vegetables to rot.
8) Place slices of apples or raw potatoes in the bread compartment or jar.
Why?
By adding a few slices of raw potatoes or apples with the bread, you ensure that the bread remains fresh for longer than usual.
9) Store radish in a vessel along with some water.
Why?
You should store radish in a vessel along with water because water will keep the radish fresh and crisp for a long time. For the same reason, if the radishes have shriveled, place them in a jar of cold water. Water will restore the radish to its previous splendor.
Conclusion:
Here, I have presented only a few of the more practical actions you should follow to ensure that the food you and your family consume remains fresh and tasty.

3 Reasons Mom Should Have A Hobby
Moms these days are so very busy, but we're more stressed than ever before and in need of lifestyle choices that help us be happier. Pursuing a hobby may be just the ticket.
Here are a few reasons why a hobby is a great idea, even for a busy Mom.
Having a hobby relieves stress and tension
Spending time with a hobby replaces negative thoughts and replaces them with positive thoughts and feelings. Having a hobby or creative outlet can lift your spirits and help with depression.
Unlike passive activities like television viewing, a hobby provides intellectual stimulation while simultaneously relaxing you. Repetitive actions like those used in knitting are especially calming.
Hobbies help you parent better
We are so good at signing our children up for lessons and classes and encouraging them to have hobbies, even paying for these classes and driving them to and fro! But we forget that we also need to learn new things and grow as people. Hobbies also connect you with other people who share your interests.
A hobby can help you maintain your separate identity as a real person and not just as Mom. This models healthy habits and boundaries for our kids.
Hobbies provide a refreshing change from your daily routine
If you're a stay at home Mom, you may be frustrated because at the end of the day you can hardly point to anything you've "done". This is because of the repetitive nature of housework and childcare.
In generations past, women pursued hobbies like quilting, sewing, knitting, crochet and embroidery not only because they were enjoyable but because they provided tangible value to the family, either providing clothing for their backs or much needed income.
Some hobbies like tennnis, gardening or belly dancing can even provide great exercise with all of its accompanying benefits. The best exercise activity is one that combines mind and body and is enjoyable to pursue.
Why not carve out some time to pursue your hobby Mom? Don't let a shortage of time stop you. Rearrange your schedule and put YOU back in it, and start carving out time for your favorite pastime.

Home Security Tips
There are few things more important to people than the security and protection of their homes and families. When it comes to securing your family you don’t always get a second chance. Lives can change forever in only a split second. Take the time now to take make sure your family is safe and secure in your home in the future.
There are several simple low cost things you can do to make your home more secure from robbery and theft and give your family peace of mind.
Home Security Tip #1
Install adequate lighting outside every entry way. You can pick up motion sensor activated lights at most department and hardware stores for under $20.00. These can be set to cover a fairly large spread. It is recommended that you install lights outside every doorway to the house. If there is a side of the house that tends to be very dark it might be a good idea to install a light there as well to prevent concealment in the shadows.
Home Security Tip #2
If you have a privacy fence around your property this can give the feeling of security but this is not necessarily the case. Security fences can actually provide a safe opportunity for a thief to work his way into your home. Once inside the perimeter of the fence the thief can work on entry to your home without being seen by neighbors or people passing by. Install motioned sensor controlled security lights outside within the fenced area. If there is a gate to the fenced in area make sure if has a secure locking mechanism.
Home Security Tip #3
Install deadbolt locks on every door leading to the outside. The types of locks which have a key in the door knob will not successfully secure a door against a thief or criminal.
Home Security Tip #4
Criminals are less likely to enter through a window because of the noise that breaking glass tends to make. Nevertheless, keep all windows locked at all times. One of the best ways to secure your windows is with glazing. Glazing protects windows against breakage.
Home Security Tip #5
A home security alarm system, which is monitored 24 hours per day, can provide peace of mind around the clock. Alarm systems are always on duty and never sleep. If you shop around you can often find specials which include free equipment and installation in exchange for a two or three year commitment. If you decide to have an alarm system installed go with a company with a solid history that you can count on. Be sure to test your system on a regular basis. Monitored alarm systems will also sometimes reduce your yearly homeowners insurance premiums. This savings alone might pay for the alarm system.
By taking these simple steps you can decrease your chances of being the victim of a crime while providing your family with a greater sense of security.

'No Child Left Behind': What it Means for Parents
The No Child Left Behind Act is a landmark education reform law that is already improving academic performance across the land. One of its chief aims is to close the troubling achievement gap that separates many disadvantaged, disabled and minority students from their peers.
To do this, it measures student performance and focuses extra resources and attention on those most in danger of falling behind. But what about the schools themselves?
Under No Child Left Behind, schools that receive federal funds to help teach and prepare educationally disadvantaged children must make what is called "Adequate Yearly Progress" in reading, language arts and mathematics. These clearly defined benchmark goals, which will be raised over time, have been put in place by each of the 50 states based upon what is appropriate for their local school districts.
If a school does not reach its annual goals, it is given extra assistance and another chance. If it again does not succeed the following year, the school is deemed "in need of improvement." Extra resources are provided to the school, and new options and choices are provided to its students and parents.
As states release their lists of schools that underperformed over the last school year, parents should be alert to their school's status. They may be eligible for free tutoring or after-school classes for their children, or entitled to choose another public school that better meets their needs.
Parents of children in schools deemed "in need of improvement" should contact their local school officials to find out if their children are eligible for these and other services.
If a school continues to underperform for five or more years in a row, school officials must develop and implement a two-year plan to turn around the school. The local school district will ensure that the school receives needed technical assistance as it develops and implements its improvement plan.
Parents who get involved - by enforcing attendance, supervising homework and setting academic goals - are less likely to see their children left behind in school. Ways that parents can help their child's school succeed include:
* Attending parent-teacher meetings to address academic or discipline problems.
* Participating in school board meetings.
* Volunteering to serve during school hours or in extracurricular activities.
* Encouraging other parents to become involved.
* Tapping into community or private-sector resources.
* Learning about No Child Left Behind and how it can benefit their child.

Online Education - Parents Who's Children Come 1st
Well mums and dads it looks like the days of the abacus is now a thing of the past. Remember how we would sit for hours teaching the children how to count with rows of coloured balls and how we would scroll down every sentence of the famous Janet and John book when teaching the kiddies to read. Just teaching the toddlers how to hold a pencil was an ordeal.
We all want what is best for our children, but trying to self educate them can be very time consuming for the busy working mum or dad There is now a solution for all concerned parents wanting a better education for their family with the help of online education. The internet is the most powerful tool that we have in our lives today for learning and gathering information.
Mums and dads you do not have to be computer educated to be part of this major break through, where your children get to improve and better themselves with online education knowledge. You can never know too much.
Education is the key to securing a better future job or career for each of us. Without the curriculum vitae and qualification papers, do not expect to get your foot over any employer's doorway. To be honest I feel a person can not be judged by a piece of paper, but I am afraid to say that this is how the system works, no papers no job.
Online education is by far the best option for anyone of us wanting to advance forward and move up on the ladder of success. Learning in your own time is a major bonus especially where the kiddies are concerned; no one enjoys being told what to do and when to do it.
This may be the answer why most pupils do not enjoy or excel in their chosen subjects at School College or any training programme, all because they are programmed against their will.
Internet babies as I call them have a great chance of learning from an early age if mummy and daddy introduces them to the computer with movie tutorials;
Internet babies as I call them have a great chance of learning from an early age if mummy and daddy introduces them to the computer with movie tutorials;
Let the World Wide Web tutor your children to get on in life. The internet is very safe, so as a parent you have no worries, you get parental control over what the kiddies can and can not do when learning to surf the internet.
Give your child the best gift ever to lead a rewarding life and that is the knowledge on how to survive.
Adults this is privacy deal where you can learn to read and write should you not have had the chance in the early years.
Children many moons ago were forced to work down the mines from the early age of eight or in the mills, just to put a crust on the table. This is the 21st century where the kids get to put a loaf on the table with the right education, and to acquire this then the safest bet is the internet.

Motivation To Succeed Develops In Early Childhood
Disclaimer: None of the content of this article should be considered medical or psychological advice. You should consult with your health care professional for specific advice relating to your medical and psychological questions or conditions.
Have you ever heard about a child whom parents or teachers describe as lazy, unenthusiastic, and non-interested in any school subject or social activity? If yes, have you ever thought why this child is so low motivated, when he or she needs to do something demanding assiduity, diligence, patience, attention, tenacity, self-control and other important personal qualities?
While growing up these children meet obstacles in real life and do not find enough will power, strength of mind to overcome life difficulties and achieve goals. This happens because in childhood and during adolescent period, when important aspects of self-regulation and self-control build up, these children did not learn to be patient, assiduous and purposeful.
That is the reason why it is very important to make the basis of your child’s motivation to success, self-control, and self-regulation in early childhood. Sometimes it is much easier for parents just to close their eyes to many things thus allowing their child to do anything he or she wants and have “peace” without listening to the child crying or demanding anything. But this is not a way out of the situation, because now your child is having only a small problem, but while the child is growing up problems will be becoming more complicated and solving them will be much more difficult.
How can you help your child be more motivated?
1. Be sure that you are ready and have enough patience to talk and explain your child many things even there could be some misunderstandings and communication difficulties.
2. Do not be afraid to be strict sometimes, but at the same time try to explain all your actions, be reasonable and appeal to consciousness of your child. (For example, if your child does not want to make homework in math, explain your him or her, that now the most important thing is not the homework, but how strong and self-controlled he or she is, and the ability of doing important things, which children do not want to do.)
3. Teach your child to avoid words such as “I want to do…” and “I don’t want to do…” substitute these word-combinations with “I need to do…” and “I don’t need to do…”Also do not tell your child, that he or she is “the smartest, most clever…” or “the best person” in any field. Because when a person says: “I am the best…” it is the signal for unconscious mechanisms to stop accept new information. “The best” person does not need to learn or know anything. Isn’t he or she “the best” already? Instead of that, say: “I’m good in this today, and I will even be better tomorrow!”
4. Do not demand from your child fast results and improvements. Remember, you should begin with small tasks, like homework or house work help.
5. Teach your child to be enthusiastic and open to new knowledge and experience. Explain and show him or her that, for example, every subject in school can be much more interesting if they try to learn more about it.
Invest your time, efforts and teach your child to be motivated to achieve their goals with the help of patience, diligence, strength of mind, will power, and hard work. This will be one of the most important investments in your life, because in the future you will be very glad to see that your son or daughter is able to achieve their goals and become a successful person.

Bukit Gambang Water Park - We Missed The Bus
Early this year, we planned to visit Langkawi in this School Holiday - May 29 to Jun 13 -. About two weeks ago, we changed our plan and decided to go to Kemaman - Mini Zoo dan Taman Tema-. Then we decided to add another location in our vacation, Bukit Gambang Water Park.
I started to google the location, get the needed information and booked the hotel through Cuti Malaysia. We should make our journey tomorrow morning. Everything is go smothly until yesterday when Hammad got fever. He was super active at the morning as usual, playing in the bathroom about an hour at the afternoon, making me angry by spreading water around the house... In the afternoon, he said he had headache. Then we realised he got fever aka demam panas after Maghrib Prayer.
We went To the clinic, of course his faverite clinic -Klinik Norazlina at Bukit Payung-. His fever go from bad to worse at the night. He couldn't eat anything at all. All night long, he kept tell me he had headache, but I can do nothing.
Today he didn't eat anything at all. Just a litle food and everything will 'get out' from his mouth-sorry, do not get the right word-. We were very worry. I told myself that we will go to the hospital tomorrow if his condition get worse. I went to Cuti Malaysia site, canceling the reservation and miss the bus...
I went to Maghrib Prayer. Bought something. Prayed The Isya' Prayer and returned home. What a suprise. He was active like Yesterday morning. Now he is jumping, running, making an acrobate moving etc... And asking if we will go to Bukit Gambang tomorrow.
Maybe we will go to Kemaman on Wednesday, to the mini zoo, but who know we will continue our journey to BGWT...

Copy, Paste ... And -don't forget- Edit
Nowadays it's easy to 'write' any article. In fact many of the 'writers' didn't write. They just copy and paste. With the Internet days, we can get everything online. Just type the topic we want to write and 'google' it, we will get thousands -if not millions- of result. Pick any article we want and copy it, then paste it in our blog... Everything just in minutes -maybe seconds if you're fast enough-.
I have to admit I did some of this 'skill' sometimes. I have a big PLR articles, more than million. PLR mean Private Label Right, meaning I have the right to claim that I'm the writer. So I do nothing wrong. But what is the benefit to me? As my tag : Just Try To Write In English, in fact I have no benefit if I just copy and paste unless some benefit from reading that article.
But there is a big benefit to me if I add new value to the article : edit it. That what I did recently. I don't have that time to maintain my blog, write a new article everyday. I'm still not good in writing -but better than last year-. For a 200 words article, I have to spent almost half of hour-maybe more depend to the topic-. For copy, paste and edit, I just need 10-15 minutes. With the busy schedule, saving 20 is a great value.
What is the real benefit from copy, paste and edit? The first one is reading. I'm believe if you want to learn any language, you have to listen to that language frequently. This is the nature way to learn language. If you don't have much opportunity to listening to that language-English in my case-, You have to read it. This is your gateway to the language.
Secondly, I get new vocabulary from this article. If I write the same topic, I just use the word I know -I don't have much vocabulary in English-. When I edit the PLR article, I learn more and more - new word, grammar and writing skill-.
Last but not least is the idea. PLR article give me more and more idea and knowledge. If I just read it, I just read it fast, get the 'whole' idea and leave it. When I edit this article, I will go deeply and get the 'real' idea.
Try this and you will see the different -this advice just for the non native English who wish to write and speak in English- in your writing skill. Of course this is for beginners only and not suitable for the expert.

4 Parenting Styles
Every grandmother and grandfather will tell you hilarious stories of their children when they were first born. And for every funny and touching story they have, they will be able to tell you another for every hardship they encountered. Parenting is something that is done in many different ways by each parent. The following are four general styles employed by parents.
Authority: Authoritarian parents rule on just that: authority. Commands are given to children that they must follow regardless of the circumstances. If these commands are not followed, harsh punishment will ensue. These parents do not welcome feedback from their children. In fact, it is met with severe punishment. The children tend to be quiet and unhappy. They have more of a fear than a love for their parents. Male children have trouble dealing with anger and female children have trouble facing adversity due to their heavily structured life where nothing ever changes.
Indulgent: Indulgent parents tend to be described as lenient. They allow immature and childish behavior. These parents expect the children to learn from their mistakes and to fend for themselves in most times of need. These parents tend to be democratic and allow for feedback from there children on issues. They will hear both sides of an argument and usually make a compromise. Indulgent parents usually avoid confrontation with their children by all means, but do tend to be more involved and emotionally closer to their children.
Authoritative: Authoritative parents are a combination of the two styles previously mentioned. They are the happy medium. While expecting proper behavior from their children, they welcome feedback and questioning on certain issues. They're able to demand things of their children but are also able to respond to what they're child says, questions and requests. These children tend to be the happiest, most confident and self assured of all the mentioned parenting styles. It is very difficult to be a purely authoritative parent.
Passive: Passive parenting is being completely uninvolved. These parents may never be home due to immaturity, work or the like. These children are usually raised by grandparents, older siblings, babysitters or themselves. There is no parental involvement at all.
I hope my wife and me among the authoritative parents. We try our best for Hammad, but sometime it's too hard for us to handle him. He is a very active boy. Just 4 year old, but like a 7 year old boy!

5 Reasons Why You Should Learn a Foreign Language
During the modern age, with globalization at its height, knowing one or two secondary languages has become more than a simple feat of high class and intelligence but also a strict requirement in many occasions. Whether it's for professional, social or personal reasons, learning at least one foreign language is a must for anyone that wants to keep his or her head up high in today's society. Let's take a focused look on 5 of the main reasons that should turn you towards learning a foreign language.
1. Professional Requirement
This is probably the main reason for which one would learn a foreign language. Many professions require the knowledge of at least one or two foreign languages, depending on the field of the job. Most jobs may ask that you know an international language such as English, French, Spanish or German or a business-specific language such as Chinese, Japanese, Russian and so forth. If you're a native English speaker you may have it a bit easier, since English is the main international language (and one that is present the most often in job descriptions) but knowing a secondary might also prove vital.
2. Social Bonus
Yes, knowing a foreign language (or more) is definitely a social bonus. There's definitely a steep hill to climb between being presented as someone that doesn't know any foreign language whatsoever against being presented as a polyglot. Another case when knowing a foreign language can be literally a social blessing is when meeting a foreigner whose language you can speak. They'll be extremely impressed by your ability to talk with them through their own native tongue, although you're on home grounds and this fact can single handedly create a great impression around you. If the foreigner happens to be part of a business meeting, this impression can turn to a successful business partnership, bringing you both professional and social satisfactions.
3. Family Communication
It's often the case where a couple formed out of persons of diverse nationalities understand each other through a commonly known international language such as English. However, they'll soon want to start learning the other person's mother tongue, not only for a better communication, but also out of respect for them.
4. Personal Satisfaction
Learning a foreign language is one of the highest intellectual goals that one could have, on a personal scale. Think about a difficult puzzle, or math problem that takes months if not years of constant studying in order to be solved. The process of solving it may be a hard, arduous one but the yell of joy at the end is well worth it. It's the same case with learning a foreign language: the learning process is not easy and you'll have many small issues and problems to tackle along the way. You'll have to focus on various aspects of the problem, such as spelling, grammar, reading, pronunciation and so forth. If you keep the problem in sight however and if you don't lose interest in it, the chances of solving it are extremely high and the intellectual fulfillment that you get at the end is incomparable to anything else.
5. Keeping Your Mind Healthy
It's been scientifically proven that by learning a new language, the process stimulates your brain in such a way that it will make you more keen on understanding and learning other subjects, including "real" disciplines such as math, physics, chemistry and so forth. Learning a new language requires the memorizing and understanding of several thousand new words and concepts, which offers your brain a good training for future occasions where memorizing is a must. After studying a foreign language you'll have better results with studying for exams, with information assimilation and generally, with keeping your mind healthy and "active" even at older ages.
Advertise...or Die! Internet Options
The world wide web has given us the great opportunity and freedom to do business all around the world from wherever we may happen to be with just a connection to the internet. This same advantage is also available to billions of others, selling all sorts of products and services, many of which will be similar to yours. Competition is, therefore, fierce and because of the sheer scale of the web, unless your web site stands out and makes its presence known, your business will be doomed to mediocrity at best, if not failure, however excellent your product or service may be.
For your business to succeed, it will need to differenciate itself in some way from others. You need to take serious and drastic measures to promote your website. Mercifully, advertising online can be done in many ways, the best of which are listed below:
E-Zines: The Magazines of the Online World
The themes are on specific subjects which are read by those interested in that particular subject. These readers are, therefore, potential customer for that product/service. Advertising your website in E-zines that are related to your business/product will almost guarantee to drive traffic to your website and help increase sales for your services/products. When advertising in E-zines, ensure that you do not advertise alongside competitors. Enquire beforehand whether there is a policy concerning posting competing advertisements. It would be a good preparatory measure to subscribe to the E-zine first prior to making a decision whether or not to advertise there. An E-zine that runs fewer advertisements is a better choice than one that runs many. To find publications that are relevant to your business, look at the Online Directory of Ezines.
Pay-Per-Click Programs
This is an excellent method to advertise your business without the risk of having advertised in the wrong place. With this method, you advertise your website, and only pay for those clicks on the links to it.
Pay-Per-Lead
Here, you pay only for those who download a trial, fill out a form, or enter a sweepstake, or whatever you choose.
Pay-Per-Click Banner Ads
With this method, you place a banner on an advertising site and you will only be charged for every click that your banner receives.
Opt-In Email
This is an ultra excellent way to advertise your business/website. With this method, you submit your sales copy to your chosen company that will, in turn, email it out to those on its mailing list. You should exercise caution in your choice of which companies to use as some of the companies advertising their mailing lists as opt-in email service are sometimes really SPAM. An effective sales letter is essential when using opt-in mailing lists as, in their absence, your money, time and effort will be totally wasted.

Traffic, traffic and Traffic
I didn't make many posting recently. I just launched My Give Away Project last month, and almost all of my On line Time now is to promote it -my first trial and error project-. I have to admit there are many errors in my project. I start from stretch, without any experience, without any guide, without gurus and without friends aka jv.
I started my project thinking everybody will go to my site to get the free products. But I'm completely wrong. There are too many give away nowadays, some of them are from big name in Internet Marketing World. Who care about My Give Away Project. But I'm glad I did it. I'm glad I learned from stretch to build My Own Business. I'm glad and proud for make my own site. And of course the biggest benefit to me is language. I wrote a lot and now feel more comfortable with my English. That is my biggest winning.
I have another week before My Give Away Project reach it first month -I launched it on May 8-. I still struggle to drive traffic to my site. The first step is using free leads -I have a lot of free leads- and auto-responder. I used TrafficWave for a while -about two weeks-, then I use MLM Power Marketing. I though peoples will click my link from the mail I sent, but I'm wrong. Completely wrong.
Then I went to Safelist, just to see my Inbox full with unwanted mails. I tried viralulr and get the same result. Last week I tried to advertise through EntreCard, thinking that I will spent a Dollar per day, but I have to spent almost 10 bucks to get only 100 clicks. I tried Facebook and Twitter too, but didn't see the result.
Starting from last Thursday, my server give me the biggest problem. I cannot access to any of my pages. It's completely go to nowhere. All I got is 500 error. I receive many of mails complain about it, and nothing that I can do unless open the ticket the the server admin.
Today I get back my site. I start to advertise with Adgitize and just for 5 hours I got 40 clicks. I hope this is the answer - of course not the ultimate answer -. I will searching the best method to drive traffic, but for now I can see the instant result from Adgitize.
At the bottom, I made two selling so far. Not bad for a trial and error project. You can see my Paypal snapshot below. Of course I spent more, but this is the business. If you are scare about the capital, just forget the business. But I will not go further from my border. I promise...
