A BAD DAY

Yesterday was a ‘bad’ day for me. It’s usual in our life we have ‘good’ day and ‘bad’ day. As a muslim we get rewarded for both – good and bad situation -. Be praise in the good situation, and be patient in the bad situation, and get reward from it.

My bad day started when I woke up Hammad from his dream. He refused to go to the kindergarten and want to stay at home. I tried my best but at the end I lost my patent and pushed him to get shower, and that was the beginning of my ‘nightmare’.

He refused to enter the class and I promised everything I can. Then I bring him to the shop and bought a gift for him. Unfortunately he still refused. So I bring him to another ‘trip and joy’ but it didn’t work too. Lastly I stayed there with him until 9.30 a.m and leaving him crying from the back door. I couldn’t concentrate to my work for the whole day and only gave my students half of my spirit teaching.

I thought that I can get a relaxing sleep at night as he slept early after Maghrib but I was definitely wrong. He woke up about 10.30 p.m and ‘disturbed’ me until 1.00 a.m. WHAT A DAY IN MY LIFE…

كان الأمس يوما شديدا عليّ وهكذا الدنيا : يوم لك ويوم عليك ، ولحسن الحظ لنا المسلمين نحصل الأجر من الحالتين ، الشكر عند النعمة والصبر عند المصيبة .

بدأت اليوم بإنقاظ حماد من نومه فرفض الذهاب إلى روضة الأطفال فاضطررت بأن أجبره على الاغتسال وهذا هو بداية سوء حظي.

لما وصلنا إلى روضة الأطفال ، رفض أن يدخل الفصل فوعدته بكل الوعد . ثم ذهبنا إلى الدكان واشتريت له هدية ومع ذلك لم يرغب في دخول الفصل فذهبت به إلى التجول مرة بعد أخرى ، وأخيرا تركته باكيا خلف الباب المغلق . قضيت بقية الأيام ونصف أفكاري مع حماد ولم أستطع أعطاء طلابي حقوقهم كاملة.

نام حماد مبكرا فظننت أن هذه نهاية تعبي وسأستريح مرتاح النفس ولكني أخطأت . استيقظ في الساعة العاشرة ونصف تقريبا وبدأ يشوشني كل التشويش ولم ينم حتى الساعة الواحدة.

HAMMAD ON HIS FIRST DAY AT PASTI AS-SALAM

Today is the great day for Hammad. Today is his first day at Pasti As-Salam, Padang Midin and he did enjoy his time there. He is get better from his fever too. Seeing Hammad making friends and playing with them on his very first day make me very proud of him. He is very friendly and a very independent too. In these days he always say when I want to help him to do something : I’m a big boy now, let me do it by myself… He just three years old.

اليوم هو أول يوم حماد في روضة الأطفال السلام بفادنج ميدين ، وكان يوما عظيما له . قضى أوقاته هناك مسرورا وقد شُفي من الحمى ولله الحمد . لما رأيته يتعامل مع أصدقائه الجدد في أول يومه هناك ، أشعر بالفرح الشديد إذ أنه يحب الحوار واللعب معهم ، كما أنه يحب أن يفعل شيئا بنفسه . :كثر من كلامه في هذه الأيام لما أردت مساعدته : "دعني أفعل بنفسي يا أبتي ، أنا طفل كبير الآن" مع أن عمره كان ثلاث سنوات فقط .

HAMMAD GET FEVER

Yesterday should the greatest day for Hammad as his first day at pre-school. Unfortunately he got fever and had to rest for whole two days. Hammad was with his Tok Ma (baby sitter) since he was 40 days old. His Tok Ma will perform Umrah in this September, so we decide to send him to Pasti As-Salam, Padang Midin for the rest of this year. We will decide where he will study next year later. But for this year he will join his friend in Pasti As-Salam. . Hope he will be better tomorrow and he will like it and enjoy his time there.

المفروض بدأ حماد دراسته في روضة الأطفال بالأمس ، ولكن أصابه الحمى فقضى أوقاته اليومين على السرير. كان تحت رعاية مربيته منذ كان عمره أربعين يوما. ستعتمر مربيته في شهر رمضان القادم فاضطررنا بأن نرسله إلى روضة الأطفال (السلام) في فادنج ميدين إلى نهاية هذه السنة . وسنفكر عن أمره في السنة القادمة ، ولكن بالتأكيد سيقضي أوقاته في روضة الأطفال هذا العام . أتمنى أنه في أحسن الأحوال غدا ويحب مكانه الجديد مع زملائه هناك

A RELAXING SATURDAY (ARABIC VERSION)

From today I will try to translate my posting to Arabic Language, so my readers can compare between the two languages and give me some comment about it...

لما أدخلت الإنترنيت إلى بيتي قبل الأسبوعين ، توعدت نفسي بأن أكتب مقالا واحدا يوميا ، ولكنني لا استطيع الوفاء بهذا الوعد. طبعا أستطيع استعمال الإنترنيت في كل ليلة ولكن مع التشويش من ابني الحبيب حماد ، فلا أملك وقتا كافيا لكتابة المقال الجديد إضافة إلى الاطلاع إلى المقالات التي كتبها الآخرون .

فهاهنا يوم السبت ، اليوم الوحيد في الأسبوع الذي أستطيع الاستراح فيه ، فأحاول أن أكتب شيئا جديدا لقرائي . فلأول مرة سأجيب عن بعض الاستفسارات التي طلبها قراء هذه الصفحة المتواضع. يعتبر المقال السابق هو أنجح مقالاتي حتى الآن إذ استسفر فيها خمس من قرائي، أحدها من تلميذي السابق الذي سأل أهمية زيادة الزوار إلى الصفحة فأجبت قائلا بأنني أكتب هذه الصفحة لأجل الهواية ولا أفكر في اكتساب المال. أنا متأكد بأن هناك أناس يحصلون كثيرا من المال عن طريق الانترنيت ولكني لست من هذا النوع. الذي أعرفه اكتساب المعيشة عن طريق التدريس .قد أغير رأيي عن هذا في المستقبل . هناك عدد كبير من الصفحات تكلمت عن هذا الموضوع ، ومع هذا ما زلت أعرض عنها .

سألني أحد زملائي لماذا لا أكتب مقالا علميا كما فعله فلان وفلان ، فها هي إجابتها . أكتب هذه الصفحة لأجل تعلم اللغة الإنجليزية فلا بد كتابتها باللغة الإنجليزية . قلت دائما لتلاميذي : إذا أردتم إجادة اللغة العربة فعليكم بالاستماع والقراءة والتكلم والكتابة بهذه اللغة . فها هنا أردت إجادة اللغة الإنجليزية فقد وعدت نفسي استعمال اللغة الإنجليزية في هذه الصفحة . هذا هو سبب عدم كتابة المالات الدينية فيها لأنني ما زلت في مستوى " ضعيف " فأخاف عدم الوصول إلى الهدف لو كتبتها الآن. بمشيئة الله أتمكن من كتابة باللغة الأنجليزية جيدا بعد ثلاث سنوات وفي ذلك الوقت قد أفكر عن هذا الأمر. والآن أفكر كل التفكير في تكوين الصفحة الخاصة باللغة الماليزية لإجابة السؤالات التي سألني الإخوة عن أمور دينهم ودنياهم .

وهناك خبر سار لقرائي الأعزاء ، فالأخ عبد الوهاب قد رزق ب(أحمد عمر رضوان) يوم السبت الماضي ، جعله الله من الناجحين في الدارين وفرسان المسلمين في المستقبل .

A RELAXING SATURDAY

When I started surfing using my stremyx, I promised to my self that I will publish a post per day. I cannot go on with that. I can surf every night now but my Hammad always want me to play with him until late night. I had a little time and I using it to surf others blogs. So I had not much time writing and publishing my own article.

Today is Saturday, meaning I have some time to write. And for the first time I will response to my reader comment. My previous posting was my best posting. I got 5 comments. One of them coming from my old timer student who asking me the benefit of increasing traffic in the blog. Of course I’m blogging for fun. I didn’t thinking about money. I knew somebody making a lot of money by blogging but I don’t think I am one of them. I only know how to make money by teaching people. But who know one day I will change my opinion about it. People always change. There are a lot of sites talking about making money from internet, but I still ignoring it.

One of my friend asked me on Thursday why I’m blogging in English and why I didn’t write about Islam in my blog. I know a lot of ustaz who write about Islam in their sites. You can find it easily by googling. I put some of them in my families n friends. My purpose is different from them. I want to improve my English so I had to write in English. I always challenge my students to talk and write in Arabic Language to learn Arabic. And I challenge myself to write and talk in English to improve my English. Is it fare? I cannot write about Islam because my English is still in ‘bad’ condition. Maybe after a while ( I give myself 3 years ) I can write and explain about Islam in English. Now I’m thinking seriously to start a new blog which contain my answer to the questions I received from my students and others about Islam.

One of my reader also suggested me to use EntreCards and I registered to EC on Thursday. Now I get the benefit from BE and EC. But BE is still my first choice.

p/s One of my best friend, Ustaz Wahab now became a father. His son, Ahmad Omar Ridhwan was born last week. CONGRATULATION.
